Free downloads from Fingerfuel.com

About a year and a half ago, I converted the Wordnet project libraries (courtesy of Princeton Wordnet), from C to VB.NET.  I later discovered that Troy Simpson at ebswift.com already offered a C# version, so I've never converted it to C#.  I don't see the C# version on Troy's site anymore.

If it turns out the C# version is no longer available, I'll convert the libraries to C#.  For now, we have the Wordnet 2.1 version available for VB.NET and .NET Framework 2.0.  I am still working on documentation for how to use it, though it will work exactly the same as the C version of the Wordnet libraries.

You can view the documentation for Wordnet here, and also download the 2.1 files from this location.

I have not included the Wordnet files in this download. You can download them per the link above. Just make sure you place the files in the '../WordnetLibrary/Wordnet/' folder.  If you view the source for the DNN Wordnet module, you can also add a key to your web.config file detailing the location of the Wordnet Dictionary files. The download file below is a zip. Simple unzip it to the root of any folder, and it will create the WordnetLibrary folder and all subfolders for you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

There is also an example DotNetNuke Wordnet module to showcase the capabilities of the Wordnet 2.1 Dictionary.  You can see a demo here.

You need to register or login before you can see the downloads.
